Characteristics of Inversion Structures and Their Controls over Hydrocarbon Accumulation in the Northern Sag of Miaoxi in Bohai Sea

Based on analysis of regional tectonic background of the eastern waters of Bohai Sea,geometry characteristics,inversion times and formed mechanism of inversion tectonics in the northern sag in Miaoxi were analyzed,and the control of inversion structure on hydrocarbon accumulation was discussed.The strata in the sag show three characteristics of uplift in the top,flat in the middle,depression in the lower.So far,at least two times of tectonic inversion has occurred,which bring some positive effects on hydrocarbon generation,migration,accumulation and preservation,but also bring some negative effects.Through comprehensive analysis,the area in the Neogene has great exploration potential.
