Abstract

The effects of finishing rolling temperatures(400-550℃) on texture and formability of AZ31 magnesium alloy sheets were investigated by experiment of ordinary hot rolling. The results show that:by increasing the finish rolling temperature, the basal texture can be effectively weakened and the formability of magnesium alloy at room temperature can also be improved.By increasing the finish rolling temperature from 400℃ to 550℃,the texture strength reduces to 3.1,and the Erichsen value increases from 3.7 to 6.3.The results lay a theoretical basis for improving the formability of magnesium alloy sheet at room temperature.
