Abstract
Objectives 'Ib observe the effects of yohimbine, prazosine and naloxone on the antinociceptive property of clonidine and study the possible mechanism of the antinociceptive effect of clonidine. Methods Thirty-eight SD rats were randomly divided into five groups: yohimbine, clonidine + yohimbine, clonidine + pra- on spinal dorsal bom neurons completely disappeared in the rats zosine, clonidine + naloxone and clonidine guoups. The effects of the drugs on noxiously evoked potential of spinal dorsal horn neurons were observed. Results The antinoiceptive effect of clonidine pretreated with yohimbine. The antinoceptive effect of clonidine which had appeared was reversed by yohimbine, but not by prazosine and naloxone. Conclusion The antinodoeptive effect of clonidine was mediated by α2-adrenoceptor in spinal dorsal hom neuron, and maybe have no relation to α1-adrenoceptor and opinoceptor.
