Abstract
There are many unique advantages for using SVG to develop a WebGIS.This paper gave an implementation for the interactive allocation of SVG based map symbols,so as to promote the development of SVG WebGIS in the practical applications, with good generality and practicality, high portability, scalability and efficiency for the symbolization of SVG map.The paper focused on:the design and interactire allocation of SVG point, line and area symbols
