Abstract
As the representation of quantitative PCR method,Taqman-based real-time PCR which is the combination of PCR and fluorescent labeling technology, get good specificity and sensitivity by primers and probe dual control the selection of the target gene.Recently, this technique was introduced and applied in detection food-born pathogen. This paper summarized the principle and advantages and disadvantages of Taqman-based real-time PCR.Furthermore the applications of Taqman-based real-time PCR in in detection food-born pathogen were reviewed. The trends of Taqman-based real-time PCR techniques were also discussed in this paper.
