Abstract
With the broad application of Web technology,the Internet has become the means to exchange and sharing information for people in their daily life and work.The Internet technology is at an unprecedented depth and breadth of the evolution to the next generation of technology.The paper first analyzed the impact of addresses structure of IPv4 and IPv6 upon network,then discussed the transitional technology from IPv4 and IPv6,and concluded that promoting IPv6 is the development trend,the next generation of the Internet is a global multi-service network.
