Abstract
The electric arc furnace steel-making productivity has gained rapid progress in the recent years.The primary new technologies that improve the productivity of EAF mainly include EAF power input technology,oxygen input technology and EAF intelligent control technology(expert system).The technical and economical indexes of a few advanced EAFs at home and abroad have been compared.It's concluded that improvement in the productivity of EAF is the inevitable road to the development of EAF steel-making.
