Contribution of China's Agricultural S&T Input to Agriculture Growth:An Empirical Analysis on China's Agricultural Panel Data from 1995-2007

Using the panel data of province level from 1995-2007,we estimated the contribution of China's agricultural ST input to Chinese agriculture growth.Based on the calculated agricultural knowledge stock of China,we estimated the elasticity of ST variable in different function forms with the static panel model.Using the estimation result,we got marginal rate of return and internal return rate of agricultural ST input.The result shows that Chinese agricultural ST input had a high return level from the national view,it improved the progress of agricultural ST and agricultural growth significantly.
