Abstract

Based on different substrates(charcoal, peat, cultivate soil, organic compost, mushroom residue)as carrier material, three phosphate solubilizing bacteria(Bacillus sp.,Pseudomonas sp.and Azotobacter sp.)strains and one associate fixation bacteria isolated from rhizosphere of alfalfa and wheat were used to produce PGPR inoculants.A randomized block experiments was carried out to determine the effect of different inoculants on hay yield and grain yield of oat.The results showed that except No.4 inoculants, the viable bacteria of other treatments accorded with the quality criterion of agricultural microbial fertilizer of China(NY227-94),and No.1 inoculants and No.2 inoculants had higher viable bacteria. The field experiments indicated that PGPR inoculants had obvious promotion on height, hay yield and grain yield of oat while no significant difference on height.Meanwhile, the effect of PGPR inoculants on hay yeild has a significant relation with phenological period of the oats.No.1inoculants was the best for filling stage while No.5 inoculants was better for mature period.Compares to control, the hay yield and grain yield of No.1 inoculant increased by 20.4%and 10.8%,respectively.In conclusion,No.1 inoculant was the best compound carrier formulation to produce PGPR inoculants.
