Abstract

In this study, the DNA from 22 disease-resistant varieties,4 feeling cultivars and 12 wild relatives were used as templates and the distribution of molecular markers YrY201-1 of the stripe rust resistance gene YrY201 was speculated by PCR.The results showed that: the amplification of molecular marker YrY201-1 possessed high efficiency(96.2%,25/26).Target band could be amplified by this marker from all the 4 susceptible materials. The amplification efficiency of the 12 wild relatives was also very high(91.7%,11/12).And several non-specific bands except the target band were amplified from most of the materials. There was only one specific amplification band in the J11(Aegilops) which was the source of molecular markers YrY201-1 for stripe rust resistance gene YrY201,but slightly larger than the prospective band.
