Abstract
The study on three kinds of Chinese merino sheep in lambing performance carried in 2001 and 2002. It compared birth weight and lambing percentage among normal Chinese-merino, meat type and prolificacy type of Chinese merino. The finding is that the birth weight is similar between three kinds of sheep; the lambing percentage is different between the three kinds of Chinese merino sheep. The highest is prolificacy type, the second is meat type, and lowest is normal Chinese merino sheep. The two traits show differentiation in different year, it means the environment also effects on birth weight and lambing percentage.
