Abstract
Since the 16th National Congress of CPC, China has come up with a series of important decisions and policies aiming at promoting regional coordinated development, on the basis of the practical experiences of regional development in the last decades, especially since the implementation of the reform and opening up policy. The 17th National Congress of CPC has systematically presented the regional coordinated development strategy, including the reduction of regional disparity, overall coordinated development, land-use, regional integration, and urbanization, as well as policies and measures to ensure the successful implementation of the strategy. This marks the formation of a distinct strategy system of regional coordinated development and its guiding theoretical system in China.
