Abstract

This paper observes the shapes of high-pressure phase minerals in naturally shocked meteorites in Suizhou and carries out electronic diffraction analysis by using transmission electron telescope—TEM,and finds some new high-pressure minerals and assemblages in naturally shocked meteorites… Ringwoodite(high-pressure multishaped olivine) including multi-crystal collective shaped Ringwoodite, crystallization Ringwoodite, fibre and glass Ringwoodite, and etc.And these different high-pressure phases in naturally shocked meteorites indicate that only under some special conditions of pressure and temperature can it form new high-pressure minerals and assemblages. These results are very significant for exploring inner composition of the deep earth and the shock metamorphism.
