Abstract
The technology of the closed circulation and zero discharge in paper mills with waste paper as raw material is a mature one. The key for closed circulation lies in the anaerobic-aerobic combined treatment system. Common problems in highly-closed paper mills such as slime pulp, odor, encrusting, corrosion, increase in additive consumption, cylinder-sticking and net-pasting will be solved with treating a small amount of waste water The investment and operation cost for waste water treatment with this method is lower than that of traditional methods. Related theories and practice are introduced with the example of zero discharge in Kappa Z u lpich Paper Mill.
