Abstract
In this paper,a set of density-dwarf height cultivation technique system in cotton(G hirsutum L) was established according to the climatic character,local soil fertility,production condition,cotton boll-setting and its distribution law both in time and space in Shanxi cotton production area and mang years' experiments.Obvious yield increasing effect and economic and social benefit were achived.Its yield increasing mechanism was analysed through relationship between climate and boll-setting,between boll-setting distribution both in time and space and fiber quatily,plant patterns and high photosynthetic efficiency etc.
