Abstract
In this article,a paradox on damped vibration which is only acted upon by dry friction is given.Then,after the analysis of damped vibration,we shows the conditions for its mathematical solution and provides the general mathematical expression which is obeyed by the movement,velocity and energy of the damped vibration.The function relationship satisfied by the vibration is also discussed here.Based on movement-time curve,we shows the vibration law and eliminate the original paradox.
