Abstract
A spark-ignited dedicated CNG engine was developed on the base of a CY6105Q diesel engine.On this CNG engine the electronically controlled sequential multi-point gas injection technology and high-energy ignition system were adopted,and the induction system,combustion system were optimized.The experimental results show that the dedicated CNG engines dynamic performance is nearly equivalent to that of the original diesel engine,the torque characteristics at lower speed is improved,and the exhaust emission can meet the demands of the Euro I standards.The engine economic performance is improved because the fuel consumption relies on the cheap natural gas 100 percent.
