Abstract
Objective: To summarize the advances in study on safe needling depth of acupoints.Methods: The recent literature about the safe needling depth was summarized and evaluated.Results: The understanding of safe needling depth and acupoints anatomy were improved though the research.But there were still problems in the research.For example,the result was not same in different methods.Conclusion: The research is very useful for acupuncture safety.It is necessary to have more systematic and comprehensive studies.
