Abstract

The beam factor and beam waist radius can be obtained by means of laser energy distribution measurement at the beam waist when the beam divergence angle is known.These parameters are very important for the beam divergence angle precise control.The result of the laser energy distribution measurement indicates that 1″ minimum laser beam divergence angle is available by means of change the beam expansion;thereby the maximum range capability of this system will be enhanced.
