Abstract
Using multibody dynamics software SIMPACK to set up a 200 km/h locomotive dynamic model, influence of two forms of vertical curve radius on vertical acceleration,wheel-rail vertical force and rate of wheel load reduction is analyzed and evaluated under the existing railway vehicle dynamics performance evaluation norms. The results show:with the increase of vertical curve radius, vertical acceleration of body decreases and tends to smooth.Influence of vertical curve radius on the wheel-rail vertical force and rate of wheel load reduction is little. When considering track random irregularity, according to vertical acceleration of the body, convex vertical curve is slightly better than the concave vertical curve. With the changing of radius,wheel-rail vertical force and rate of wheel load reduction change little. They are excellent.
