Abstract
The large-scale accessing of distributed generation(DG) would cause serious distribution network power quality problems. This paper introduces the concept of DG and its classification, emphatically analyzes four kinds of DG grid structure, and researches the impact of DG on distribution network power quality from the perspective of the voltage fluctuations, finally, describes several DG power quality improvement methods, uses static var compensator(SVC) to solve power quality problems caused by the DG connection, and the experimental model is built which results verify the effectiveness and feasibility of the method.
