Abstract

This paper introduces briefly the TCP congestion control techniques and analyzes their characteristics of TCP Reno,TCP Vegas and Fast TCP. The ns simulator is used to evaluate the performance of those algorithms.Then the advantages and disadvantages of the three algorithms are summarized.
