Abstract

Based on the studying for the dynamic changes of stability of a certain reservoir landslide under the conditions of reservoir water level fluctuation, and through the analysis of the seepage field, the transient seepage fields during the reservoir water level raising and falling are acquired;then the calculated pore water pressure is used in the limit equilibrium analysis of the landslide,in order to discuss the effect of the reservoir water level fluctuation on the stability of the landslide. The results show that the stability of landslide would gradually increase when the reservoir water level rising, but gradually reduce when falling. For this landslide, the rapid drawdown would have a great influence on it.In the process of the reservoir water level falling, the stability is low when the reservoir water level is about 700 m.
