Abstract
Adopting the hierarchical optimization, the paper firstly studies on the optimization design of the relative positions of horizontal and vertical side hull of the trimaran, with the minimum total resistance as the optimization objective. The side hull location scheme of the optimal resistance performance is obtained. Then hull line optimization is carried out based on the side hull optimal location. Finally, the optimization of side hull location and hull line of the trimaran are completed. The results indicate that the optimization method of the trimaran side hull location and hull line optimization method adopted in the paper is feasible, which can provide reference for trimaran ship type design.
