Abstract
In this paper, a design of optical fiber transmission system of 4-port and 8-wavelength opticalburst switching network is described. A novel scheme of wavelength channels is mentioned, and it is fit for OBS network and reducing difficulty and cost of the network. Burst mode transmitter and receiver are designed for OBS. At 1.25 Gbps bit rate transporting packets, output optical power of transmitter is more than -2 dBm, input optical power of receiver is less than -23 dBm, dynamic range is more than 15 dB, burst synchronization is less than 6 μs, and guard band between packets is 6 μs.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
