On the Characteristics of Huang Tingjian's Prose

Huang Tingjians prose,an important part of his literary achievements,has abundant ideological context and distinctive artistic features. Many of his important poetic and prose theories and artistic thoughts can be found in his prose. Criticisms on prose,poetry and paintings constitute the main body of his prose,but there is also some prose which gave a faithful representation of the social reality of his times.
