Abstract
【Objective】 To evaluate the therapeutic effect and clinical value of endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography(ERCP) in malignant obstructive jaundice.【Methods】The clinical data for 68 patients treated with ERCP were reviewed and analyzed.【Results】 There were remarkable effects on reducing the level of serum bilirubin and improving the symptoms after 7~10 days.【Conclusion】ERCP is a good palliative treatment method for malignant obstructive jaundice, with minimal invasion, rapid recovery, short hospital stay, low complications and apparent efficacy.
