Abstract

A multifunctional driver module for LED display screen is introduced in the paper.The system is composed of PC and SCM,the communication data are renovated by PC,the hardware circuit and display circuit are controlled by SCM.The communications depend on RS232C interface standard.The system uses a newstyle IC DS12C887 to deal with the time information,which is produced by Dallas Company.The IC have a lithiumbattery in the body,and can save data for ten years when the power is cut.
