Abstract

As a special reservoir, volcanic rock reservoir has special pore structure, flow law in the pore, and so on. Like other general sedimentation rocks, volcanic rock ' s porosity, pore compressibility factor and permeability drop with the increase of net o-verburden pressure. Result of experimentation indicates that rhyo-lite' s porosity drop ranges between 5% and 22% , and rhyolite' s permeability drop ranges between 6% and 19% , which are less than the general sedimentary rock' s. The stress sensitivity of rhyolite rock reservoir isn' t evident.
