Abstract

Toxicity of cyantraniliprole on Plutella xylostella and Spodoptera litura with sensitive and field populations was determined. The results showed that P. xylostella had medium level resistance, but S. litura had higher sensitivity, and didn't show significant resistance. Field trials by different doses of 10% cyantraniliprole SC, 15% indoxacard SC and 24% chlorfenapyr SC indicated that the cyantraniliprole 1 500 times had the best control effect(91.49%) on P.xylostella. Its 1 500 and 2 000 times had the best control effect(above 90%) on S.litura, Cyantraniliprole was the preferred insecticide on S.litura, but should be limited on P. xylostella.
