Environmental Ethics,A New Ethics

Environmental Ethics is a new ethics.Its main feature is that the object of human morality extend from the people and social fields to life and nature;its basic question is:to confirm the value of life and nature,to recognize the right of life and nature,thus to respect nature,protect nature,and to ensure the sustainable use of nature.China's environmental ethics started from the introduction of Western Environmental Ethics.Now based on the academic and cultural traditions in China,traditional Chinese philosophy and way of thinking,combining the actual situation of China,we should establish our own theoretical model of environmental ethics,conceptual framework and discourse system to exceed the Western Environmental Ethics.Furthermore by the theoretical integration of different schools,China's environmental ethics should be established,and should be made as a part of Chinese culture,to serve Chinese people,serve the construction of ecological civilization.
