Effect of Danhong injection on serum high sensitivity C-reactive protein in patients with acute coronary syndrome

Objective To observe the influence of Danhong injection on serum high sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS).Methods Eight-six cases with ACS were divided randomly into therapy group(n=43) and control group(n=43),both groups received conventional treatment,moreover,the therapy group was treated with intravenously Danhong injection for two weeks.The levels of serum hs-CRP in both groups were detected before and after treatment.Results There were not statistical difference in the level of serum hs-CRP between both groups before treatment (P0.05).After treatment,the level of hs-CRP in both groups dropped obviously(two P0.01),but it were lower of therapy group than that of control group(P0.01).Conclusion Danhong injection can control plaque inflammation by decreasing serum hs-CRP of ACS patients.
