The paper points out the introduction of the techniques from Jiangnan gardens is the important characteristics for the royal gardens in Ming and Qing dynasties,analyzes some examples of the royal gardens in Ming and Qing dynasties from some aspects,such as the methods for building gardens,the garden themes,the landscapes structure,and the artistic conception of the gardens,and so on,and explores the characteristics of the garden creation from many aspects,so as to improve the skills for the royal garden construction.
