Abstract
As a liberalistic writer,Lin Yutang is highly prized for his independence all alone without any affiliation to the politic powers.He uses the words in his heart to depict the personality and essence of the world,containing his ivory in humor to express the indirect concern of the society.However,he is misunderstood and criticized by majorities which is aroused from many complicated reasons.
