On the Person in Civil Law

The person in civil law normally indicates natural person in the active legislations of civil law in the countries around the world.While in the General Principles of the Civil Law of the People's Republic of China,person here is represented as and citizen(natural person).Through analysis of the historical evolution of person in civil law,this paper makes an comparison between the conceptions of citizen and natural person and gets the essence of the person in civil law.On the basis of this and with critical analysis of the active legislation in China,this paper also gives advice to modify it.
