Abstract
By analyzing the hydrochemical data recorded by the stations in the middle, eastern Gansu before the shocks of Yongdeng on July 22, 1995, Tianzhu on June 1, 1996 and Jintai on June 6, 2000, it is found that there were obvious hydrochemical anomalous changes in the hot springs at Liancheng, Yuzhong and Tongwei as well as the Spring no.1 and Well no.22 at Wushan, especial the mercury content in the hot spring at Tongwei and the radon content in the Spring no.1 and Well no.22 at Wushan.
