Study on the cultivated land use change and its driving force in Guangdong Province

According to the statistical data of cultivated land of Guangdong province during the last 56 years,the trends of the quantity change on cultivated land are discussed in this paper. It is showed that the quantity of cultivated land has been reduced year by year. By using the society and economic statistical data from 1978～2005,and combing the principal component analysis method ,it is obtained that the economic factor and the productive capacity of agriculture factor are the main factors which have an importing effect on the the change of the cultivated land.
