Abstract

Glebe soils are used to assess the effects of heavy metal Cd on soil microbial community.When the concentration of Cd increases gradually to 10 mg/kg,the significantly positive correlation between the availability of Cd and bacteria is found;the similar phenomena is found at actinomycetes and fungi,when the concentraton of Cd at a low level,below 10 mg/kg;but when the level reaches 10 mg/kg,the number of bacteria,actinomycetes and fungi decreases.The order of inhibiting rate of soil microbial activity under Cd pollution is proved to be bacteriaantinomycetesfungi.With the time went by,the number of soil microbial biomass declines.
