Abstract

Fenton Reagent can be used to treat the iron and manganese mine waste water. The paper investigated effects of reaction temperature,H2O2 dosage,pH,reaction time on Fenton reagent treatment of mine water and discussed the treatment mechanism of Fenton reagent to the acid mine wastewater. The result indicated: The elimination efficiency of manganese from the iron and manganese mine water was very high by the Fenton reagent,Fe2+ with H2O2 generated by Fenton reagent with strong oxidation of ·OH could effectively treat Mn2+ in the mine water. The Mn2+ initial density was 2mg/L,the Fe2+ initial density was 250mg/L,the reaction temperature was 25℃,the increment of H2O2 was 8mmol/L,pH value was 4.5,the reaction time was 10 minutes, the Mn2+ elimination efficiency may achieve above 78.1%.
