Nonverbal Communication in Japanese Culture and Japanese Intercultural Communication Teaching

Intercultural communication includes verbal and nonverbal communication. Traditionally it is considered important to teach verbal communication, not to teach non-verbal communication in Japanese teaching, and this is affecting the actual intercultural communication. After studying non-verbal communication and doing research on nonverbal communication between Chinese culture and Japan culture, the importance of nonverbal communication is realized, and there are many suggestions for nonverbal intercultural communication teaching in Japanese teaching.
