The Relationship between Creative Teaching Behavior and Student's Creative Personality

Abstract

The present study surveys a total of 716 middle school students by using the Creative Teaching Behavior questions,the Williams Creative Personality test and two Creative Problem Solving tests to examine the relationship between creative teaching behavior,creative personality and creative problem solving ability. Result showed that:( 1) Teachers' creative teaching behavior was positively associated with the middle school students ' creative personality; Creative teaching behavior was positively associated with creative story and remote associates test; Imagination was positively associated with creative story and RAT.( 2) Imagination partially mediated the relationship between the creative teaching behavior and creative story; Imagination partially mediated the relationship between the creative teaching behavior and RAT.
