On the Relation between Cultural Anthropology and Aesthetic Anthropology

Aesthetic anthropology is a complex cross-subject of aesthetics and cultural anthropology Although it absorbs some theories and studies some approaches from cultural anthropology,there are some difference in the aspects of background,fields of vision,study objects,academic ideas and research approaches between the two subjects.With cultureas its theme,cultural anthropology studies mankind culture and development,emphasizing on expressing culture and showing the differentiation and diversity of mankind culture.Taking the artistic phenomena and aesthetic activities in mankind spiritual culture as its study object,aesthetic anthropology emphasizes on studying the survival living formaesthetic experience as a whole among the people.Aesthetic anthropology analyzes material and generalizes theories by adopting multi-approaches of cross subjects on the basis of positivist research.
