Abstract
A new kinetic fluorimetric method for the determination of trace bromine ion was developed based on the inhibition of bromide to oxidation of pyronine B by potassium bromate in dilute solution of phosphoric acid. The mechanism of the reaction was studied.Under the optimal conditions, the detection limit for bromine ion is 0.11μg/L.The linear range of the determination is 0.36? ?.33μg/L. The method was used to determine trace bromine ion in lake water and serum samples with satisfactory results.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
