Abstract

A new method has been developed for the determination of trace amount of iodate by Mulberry red,The complex has a maximum absorption wavelength at 520 nm;The liner range is 0~50 mg/25 mL for iodine e=4.3×104 L/mol·cm;The method has been used for the determination of iodate in table salt with satisfactory results.
