Evaluation on the Clinical Curative Effect of Heparin Combined with Atorvastatin in Treating Nephrotic Syndrome

Abstract
Objective To analyze and evaluate the clinical curative effect of heparin combined with atorvastatin in treating patients with nephrotic syndrome. Methods A total of 93 cases of patients with nephrotic syndrome admitted in Xiangtan People's Hospital from Feb. 2008 to Apr. 2013 were divided into two groups according to the random number table: the control group( 49 cases) and the observation group( 44cases). patients in the control group were given conventional treatment; while patients in the observation group were given an extra treatment of low molecular weight heparin combined with atorvastatin. The laboratory indexes,blood coagulation time and blood biochemical indexes of the two groups were compared. Results The quantity of urinary protein 24 hrs after treatment( 24 hUPQ),the blood urea nitrogen( BUN),and the serum creatinine( Scr) levels of the two groups were all lower than those before treatment,and the serum albumin( ALB) levels were all higher than those before treatment( P 0. 05),moreover,the above indexes of the observation group were all improved more significantly than the control group( P 0. 05). The serum total cholesterol( TC),triglyceride( TG),prothrombin time( PT),thrombin time( APTT) levels of the two groups after treatment were all lower than those before treatment( P 0. 05),and the TC,TG,PT and APTT levels of the observation group were improved more significantly than the control group( P 0. 05). The total efficiency of the observation group after treatment was higher than that of the control group( 95. 45% vs 77. 55%),the difference was statistically significant( Z = 3. 038,P 0. 05). There were no obvious adverse reactions occurred to the patients of the two groups during treatment. Conclusion The curative effect of heparin combined with atorvastatin in treating nephrotic syndrome is ideal,and can significantly improve the patient' s clinical symptoms,therefore,is worth of recommending in clinical application.
