Abstract
[Objective]To investigate the Ureaplasma urealyticum(Uu) and Mycoplasma hominis(Mh) infection status in female genitourinary tract and their antimicrobial sensitivity.[Methods]A total of 2090 female genitourinary tract specimens were collected from Jan 2006 to Dec 2008.The results of mycoplasma cultivation and susceptibility test were analyzed retrospectively.[Results]Among 2090 specimens,836 were mycoplasma positive,and the positive rate was 40.0%.The culture positive rate was the highest in 21-40 age group.From 12 commonly used antibiotics,the sensitivity to tetracyclines was the highest,followed by macrolides.All 4 kinds of quinolones showed the higher resistance,and their sensitivity rates were all below 50%.[Conclusion]The drug resistance of mycoplasma in female genitourinary tract is greatly severe that clinical doctors should pay more attention to it.
