Abstract

When persisting objects,Object Identifier(OID) is generated by OID Manager.It is banded with this object and then stored to the relational database.It can make easier to maitain the relationship among the objects,at the same time it can make the query procedure more convenient.Designing an OID Manager is to encapsulate the OID generating algorithm.Analyzing several OID generating strategies and their benefits and flaws,developers can choose proper one for applications.
