Abstract
Film hole irrigation produces spatial 3 D infiltration under sufficient water supply.The types of film hole infiltration can be classified as single point source infiltration,single-line interference infiltration and multiple-line interference infiltration.On the basis of the past achievements on film hole irrigation,this article summarizes the influential factors of point source infiltration,the features of existed infiltration models,the water distribution characteristics,the shape of wetted body,the moisture front transferring rules and mathematical models.Moreover,some problems about film hole irrigation to be solved are discussed.
