Abstract
Objective To provide the basis of prevention and control risk of virus transfusion,discuss the detected result of voluntary blood donors in Urumqi and its influential factors.Methods The statistical data of blood donors in Urumqi from 2004 to 2008 was analyzed using unconditional logistic regression analysis.Results Among the 26 273 voluntary blood donors,the blood detected negative rate was 96.51%;the results of logistic regression disclosed the influencing factors were gender,age,nationality,education,occupation and frequency of donating blood etc.Conclusion The effective ways to ensure blood safety are to strengthen the propaganda of blood knowledge and transfusion transmitted diseases detection,advocate female,repeat blood donors and people with high education level to donate blood.
