On the Thought of Mao Zedong about the Liberation War's Process

Abstract

After the beginning of the Liberation War,Mao Zedong foretold the victory of the war,and forecasted the process of the war.He had hoped to win peace through defeating enemy,then he thought the war would be long-lasting,which included two stages of strategic defensive and offensive.About the war's time process,his first forecasting was five to fifteen years.As time passed,he forecasted that the war would last for five years.After Liao-shen Campaign,he thought it would take three years for PLA to overthrow the government of KMT.The thought of Mao Zedong about the Liberation War's process belongs to Mao Zedong Limitary Thought,which guided the Liberation War to victory.
